This is a Wedgwood Jasperware beautiful, and unusual, pin tray--unusual because of the scalloped or multi-curved edges, and because it is the blue figures on white background rather than the more traditional reversed colors. The tray has the traditional mythological scene, but in blue, hand applied to its center in the careful, attention-to-detail Wedgwood way. It is quite a stunning piece, with its incredible detail. The tray measures 4 1/2" x 3" and is in excellent condition. It is about 35 years old and is fully marked on the underside with the Wedgwood name, initials, numbers, and "Made in England." It also has the Wedgwood Collectors Society logo in blue. The tray can be used to hold candy, mints, jewelry, or other treasures. It makes a wonderful gift any time of the year, for birthdays, Mother's Day, holidays, or "Just because I'm thinking of you."
