LENOX Jewels Penguin Penquinl Mint Retired Vintage
This is one of the LENOX animals, a penguin, from the Lenox China Jewels Collection. This series was comprised of a number of animals, hand decorated by Lenox artisans with metallic gold paint and black enamel "jewels. The penguin is unusually beautiful. It stands on a small roundish base, its claws hanging tightly onto the edge of the base. The 5 1/2" tall penguin is in excellent condition. Any spots you see are reflections. Lenox is world famous for its fine china dinnerware. It has become equally as famous for its figurines, which are made from molds and then hand-painted. It is marked as shown in the photos.
